Join Building with Books for our biggest event of the school year!

WHO: Bodine, Masterman, Germantown, Delaware Valley Charter School, & CEP

WHAT: Join BwB students from all over Philadelphia in our efforts to revitalize Saint Paul's Recreation Center. We will be partnering with Art Sphere, a community arts organization, to paint the interior walls, murals, and more. Volunteers will also pull weeds, pick up litter, lead children's activities and more.

Help make this center a hub for safe, educational, and fun activities.

Free Breakfast & Lunch. Plus, check out tons of local artists at a nearby community art's fair.

TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED: MEET THE BwB BUS!!!
You may pick up a BwB bus at any stop. You simply need a BwB permission slip.
8:00 AM - Germantown
8:30 AM - Delaware Valley Charter
9:00 AM - Temple University
9:30 AM - Start Serving!!!

From the Market Frankford Line
* Take the Market Frankford Line to Market East Station.
* At Market East catch the 23 Bus toward the Chestnut Hill Loop.
* Disembark Bus 23 at 11th Street and Wallace Street
* Walk 1 block to 10th and Wallace Street.

From the Broad Street Subway
* Take the Broad Street Subway to the Spring Garden Stop.
* Come above ground and catch Bus 43 headed West toward Richmond St.
* Disembark the 43 Bus at 10th Street and Spring Garden Street.
* Walk North on 10th Street 5 short blocks to Wallace Street.

From I-76
* Merge onto I-76 East
* Keep LEFT to take VINE STREET EXPY/I-676 E/US-30 E via EXIT 344 toward CENTRAL PHILADELPHIA (0.8 mi)
* Take the exit toward BROAD STREET/CENTRAL PHILA (0.2 mi)
* Take the ramp toward PA-611/Broad Street (0.1 mi)
* Stay STRAIGHT to go onto VINE ST. (0.1 mi)
* Turn LEFT onto PA-611/N BROAD ST. (0.5 mi)
* Turn RIGHT onto WALLACE ST. (0.4 mi)
