What? Package food boxes for people in need!
Where? 2901 W. Hunting Park Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19129
When? Saturday, March 8th 2008, 8:45am to 12:00pm!

SHARE (Self-Help and Resource Exchange) is a program where people can purchase a package of food for $16 and 2 hours of community service with a retail value of about $35. The food package contains meat, fresh fruits, vegetables, and staples. SHARE buyers purchase the food from growers, brokers, and packaging plants. The food is not donated, government surplus, or salvage.

SEPTA DIRECTIONS:
Market Frankford El (blue line): Take the El to City Hall/ 15th Street Stop and transfer (Free) to the Broad Street Subway. Follow directions below.
Broad Street Subway (orange line):
Get off at Allegheny Avenue. At Broad & Allegheny, take the #60 Bus westbound and get off at 29th and Allegheny. Walk one block up 29th St. to Hunting Park Ave, cross Hunting Park Ave., and walk into the SHARE parking lot.
Bus 1: to 29th & Hunting Park.
Bus 32: to 30th & Allegheny.
Bus 48: to 29th & Allegheny.
Bus 60: to 29th & Allegheny.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From I-95, go to I-76.
Take I-76 West to Route 1 North (Roosevelt Boulevard).
Take the Wissahickon Ave North / Henry Ave Exit.
As the exit forks stay right and turn right onto Wissahickon Ave.
Go 1.5 blocks and turn left onto the Service Road for Route 1.
Turn left onto Fox Street, and travel ¾ of a mile.
Turn right onto Hunting Park Ave. Go past the Tastycake Bakery on your right, under the pass, and turn right at the stoplight. The SHARE parking lot is immediately on your right. (Right across from Mercy Vocational School)

Join BwB for a special ABINGTON HIGH SCHOOL Saturday Service Project. Support the Rubye's Kids music festival!!!

DAY: Saturday, March 8th !
TIME: 8:30am to 1pm!
PLACE: Willow Grove Moose Lodge, 3 Woodlawn Avenue Willow Grove, PA 19090 (Right near Abington High School)

WHAT: Supporting Rubye’s Kids Music Festival. Rubye's Kids provides charitable services which further the social, emotional, and educational welfare of underprivileged children all year long.

Volunteers will do face painting, tattoos, dance with kids from nearby shelters and help with registration and tickets.
