What? Assist teachers in training families to use their computer based home learning centers!
Where? Tilden School, 6601 Elmwood Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19142
Day? January 12th, 2008
Time? 2 Shifts! 8:15am – 12:30pm (Breakfast Provided!)12:15pm – 4:30pm (Lunch Provided!)
Volunteers will help families set-up their home learning center at the beginning of the workshop; learn basic software operations; and get hands-on experience using their home learning center to improve reading, writing and mathematics. Volunteers also ensure that no families fall behind during the workshop and help keep the day running smoothly. At the end of each training session, families pack up their home learning center and take it home.

From I-76E:
