Dignity Housing is a non-profit organization established by formerly homeless people to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty confronting low-income and homeless families and individuals in Philadelphia. Dignity Housing promotes their self-sufficiency by providing affordable rental housing with individualized social services; home ownership opportunities; assistance in pursuit of education objectives; workforce development; and financial management assistance.
Volunteers Will: Work together to SORT TOYS, DECORATE PARTY SPACE, and preparing gift baskets for families

Transportation
Septa:
Broad Street Line: Take the Broad Street Subway to the Erie St stop. Walk one block east to corner of Germantown Avenue and Erie Street. Catch the 23 bus to Ashmead Street. Walk half a block back to 5221 Germantown Avenue.
Market-Frankford Line: Take the train to City Hall to the Broad Street Line. Follow direction above from Broad Street Line.
Buses: The 23 Bus goes up 11th street to Germantown Avenue and drops off at Ashmead Street (a half block from the project).
Driving Directions:
76W: Take 76 West to Roosevelt Avenue (US 1 North) exit. Continue on Roosevelt Avenue for close to 2 miles to the Germantown Avenue exit. Continue on Germantown Avenue to 5221 Germantown Avenue (between Ashmead and Bringhurst Streets)
76E: Take 76 East to Roosevelt Avenue (US 1 North) exit and follow above directions to 5221 Germantown Avenue.
